Led by Margaret Malone, Good Shepherd Sister

One of the powerful messages of the Bible is that God has come to us in Jesus Christ to reconcile humanity both to God and to one another. Forgiveness is at the heart of our life. It was the first thing the risen Jesus speaks about to the disciples and sends them – sends us – to be a people of forgiveness. However, forgiveness is not as easy as it sounds! Many of us struggle to forgive those who hurt us, yet despite that we are inspired when we hear of the mother who forgives the criminal who murdered her son. In his book ‘No Future without Forgiveness’ former Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who headed up the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa addresses questions like: How can I forgive? How can I become a whole person once again, freed from the harm I experienced or inflicted? How can I live into a new story for my life?

Margaret Malone will address some of these vital issues that lead to deeper freedom.
