There are many ways of reading the Bible, but one of the most engaging ways developed in the third century. Instead of rushing through the Bible to get a lot of information about God, this approach encourages us to slow down so that we may absorb the word and in doing so spend time with God. It is called ‘Divine Reading’ or ‘Praying the Bible’.
Katharine Massam teaches at our theological College in Parkville and is strongly influenced by Benedictine Spirituality. In this session we will learn how to listen to what God might be saying to us as the Spirit inspires us through our reading.
