This is a special service where we focus on Baptism and have a baptismal renewal for the whole congregation. Children and adults who have been baptised in the last few years are invited to bring back the candle received at baptism so that it can be lit at a certain time in the service.
The Sunday we have chosen is ‘Pentecost’ which is the day in the Christian Calendar when we remember how the first disciples were baptised by the Holy Spirit.
We would like everyone in the congregation to wear something RED, which is the colour of the day, a colour which signifies the warmth of God’s love and the power of God’s Spirit to change our lives and lead us to live God’s love and mercy.
There will be a special ‘red’ morning tea after the service. To assist with catering please contact the Office if you are planning to attend.
