Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent.
In the Ash Wednesday service our foreheads are marked in ash with the sign of the cross. Just as in baptism we are signed with oil or water on our forehead, on this day we are reminded of our mortality and dependence on God, and marked again by the cross that leads us to a life of both service and hope.
This service will be led by our newly inducted minister, Rev Feke Kamitoni.
