SUMMARY:Blessing of Pets - Queen's Park
DESCRIPTION:Some of you may have seen the TV series ‘Vicar of Dibley’. In one of those sessions she had a blessing of pets in the parish church and the church began to look more like Noah’s Ark than a church. Well what I propose is something slightly different. Our pets are a very important part of our lives\, and we invite you to bring your pet along to Queen’s Park where we will be going on a walk reflecting on the place that pets  have in our lives\, thinking about the role we  have to care for the creatures of the earth\, listening to a short Bible Reading\, and sharing in prayer\, and afterward enjoying a cuppa. Please encourage others to join us – a neighbour\, a friend.  Other churches will also be invited to participate.
